Minni K. Ang wanted to be a musician ever since she met her first piano at the age of 5. She started out as a performer, playing a number of different instruments including the piano, classical percussion, drums, trumpet and cello. She began writing her own music only at the age of 16, but since then has written many different types of pieces in many different genres. Her
colourful career includes several years as a Scripture Union youth worker specializing in music and several more as a lecturer of music at a local university, besides brief stints as a high school teacher and as a professional orchestral musician. She has multiple degrees, including a Ph.D in Computer Applications in Music. More recently she set up and ran her own small company, Musicmall Productions, that specialized in original music composition and production, releasing a number of original albums and singles including a set of three children's albums. She is currently a work-at-home mom to four month old Bethany, producing music clips for CDROMs on a freelance basis.
"Inspired! Sleepy Kids" won in the "Best Baby Album" category at the Children's Web Music Awards 2004, and is part of a set of two other CDs, "Happy Kids" and "City Kids", produced by Minni and her team at Musicmall in early 2004.
